Energy Management

Dyaco's primary energy sources are electricity, natural gas, diesel, and gasoline, with purchased electricity being the primary source used during production. Following the "Regulations on the Management of Energy Consumption and Greenhouse Gas Emissions," energy-saving measures have been formulated, and plans are promoted from top to bottom within Dyaco. To increase the use of green energy, Dyaco has established a solar power generation system policy to maximize the efficiency of the factories. Six sets of solar power generation systems are operated on the roofs of three factories in Changhua. They are leased to operators and then sold back to Taiwan Power Company. Dyaco International’s primary energy sources include purchased electricity, natural gas, diesel, and gasoline, with purchased electricity being the largest source and the most critical energy input for production. Therefore, the Group has installed a smart meter system at its Changhua main plant. Through smart gateways, the system enables monitoring of energy consumption across the factory, including electricity usage (kWh), real-time power consumption, electricity consumption trends, power demand trends, and group comparison data.

Energy Intensity

We calculate the energy consumption of fitness equipment produced by the consolidated subsidiaries of Dyaco International based on unit volume. Since the Group began including the energy consumption of newly consolidated subsidiaries in 2024, the energy intensity has increased compared with previous years. However, the Group has established an energy management policy to reduce long-term energy use. The energy intensity for 2023– 2025 is presented below:
